Starting from the establishment of its overseas manufacturing base in Taichung in 1969, the company built a group network for manufacturing and sales mainly in Asian including India and China, and has been working hard to expand the Yuken brand globally.Today the business environment is changing at an accelerating pace due to the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the advancement of globalization.

Our group companies are also aiming at creating added value to meet our customers’ needs, while improving themselves and continuing their efforts. In addition, by further strengthening our global production system to support our growth, we will increase “the comprehensive strength of our group” and improve our comprehensive quality assurance and brand strength.

1929	Uichi Yuki founded Yuki Mfg. Works.
1940	Succeeded in producing hydraulic vane pumps.
1952	Reorganized Yuatsukiki Kenkyujo.
1956	Reorganized into YUKEN KOGYO CO., LTD.
1957	Founded Nagoya Branch Office (current Nagoya Sales Office).
1959	Founded the sales company YUHAN HYDRAULICS CO., LTD.
1960	Built the Fujisawa factory.
1962	Listed stock on the Second Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
1964	Moved the head office to Fujisawa
1965	Conclusion of a contract with China Technology Advancement Corporation to replenish hydraulic equipment plant No. 1 (Hydraulic laboratory testing and measuring instruments)
1967	Opened the Tokyo office.
1969	Built the Taichung Mfg. Center. Listed stock on the Second Section of the Osaka Stock Exchange.
1970	Founded OSAKA YUKEN CO., LTD. Opened the Research & Development Center and the Sagami factory. Listed stock on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
1975	Opened the Sapporo Sales Office.
1976	Founded YUKEN INDIA LTD.
1978	Founded YUKEN KOGYO (H.K.) CO., LTD.
1979	Opened the Nagano Sales Office. Founded HOKURIKU YUKEN CO., LTD.
1980	Founded YUKEN EUROPE LTD.
1984	Opened the Sagami Sales Office. Installed a large hydraulic system works in the Sagami factory. Renamed the factory as the Sagami plant.
1986	Opened the No.1 Component Assembly Center in the Sagami plant.
1987	Founded YUKEN SERVICE CO., LTD.
1992	Founded YUCI YUKEN HYDRAULICS CO., LTD. (joint venture), in China. Opened the No.2 works in the Fukuroda factory. Opened the Technical Center in the Sagami plant.
1996	ISO 9001 Certification obtained.
1997	Absorbed YUKEN HYMEX CO., LTD.
2002	Acquisition of general construction business.
2003	Delisting on the Osaka Stock Exchange
2004	Moved the head office to the Sagami plant. Integrated the Fujisawa factory into the Sagami plant. Built a new factory in Sagami (Head Office and Sagami Plant).
2005	ISO 14001 Certification obtained.
2006	Founded YUKEN HYDRAULICS (ZHANGJIAGANG) CO., LTD.
2007	Founded YUKEN KOREA CO., LTD.
2010	Founded YUKEN KOGYO (SHANGHAI) CO., LTD.
2012	Founded YUKEN SEA CO., LTD.
2013	Founded YUKEN KOGYO (FOSHAN) CO., LTD.
2019	Founded YUKEN NORTH AMERICA CORPORATION
2022	Transition to the standard market following the Tokyo Stock Exchange's review of market segmentation.
